Kadima
– 6th – 8th grade students meet monthly to participate in
social action activities, holiday celebrations, game nights and
Jewish-themed events. Kadima sometimes offers separate events for the
different grades. Events this year included creating and donating
tie-dyed shirts, playing the Jewish edition of Apples to Apples, dinner
at the Rabbi's house and movie nights.
DATES: The synagogue bulletin, Kehila, lists monthly Kadima events.

U.S.Y. – The United Synagogue Youth group for 9th
- 12th grades meets monthly for social activities with a
Jewish twist. There is a Youth
Board that meets with the CBI Youth
Director monthly to plan activities for both CBI and
inter-synagogue programming. Like Kadima, USY activities are varied to include a mix of social action and social fun. This
year students harvested vegetables at a local farm to support Rachel's
Table in Springfield, attended the Voices for Darfur concert, and will
be involved in the Prison Book Project organized through a church in
Hadley.
