KIDDUSH THIS SHABBAT is sponsored by the Cohen Family in honor of David Cohen's 70th birthday. Thank you, and Happy Birthday, David!

HAGGADOT & HAROSET:
This Sunday, March 7 at 4:00 pm.  Looking for ways to enliven, update or otherwise shake up your Passover Seder?  Join us at Broadside Books in downtown Northampton as Rabbi Justin David shares eclectic ways to lead a seder through using a variety of Haggadot.

SHIRA CHADASHA KABBALAT SHABBAT SERVICE:
Friday, March 12 at 7:00 pm (NOTE TIME) in the CBI Library with Rabbi Justin David and CBI member and guitarist, David Weidenfeld. Join us for this beautiful, spirited and musical celebration of Shabbat.  All are welcome!

COMMUNITY SCHOLAR RABBI EDWARD FELD:  Friday, March 12 after the Kabbalat Shabbat service and Shabbat, March 13 during Kiddush.  As part of the CBI series "Opening the Gates - Ways into Judaism", Rabbi Feld will speak on "Wisdom in Times of Change: From the Bible to the Rabbis".  Our Sages, 2000 years ago, witnessed and grappled with the destruction of their world.  In an age without divine revelation, what do we do in order to find wisdom? Do we see ourselves in the struggles of the Rabbis?  Please join us as Rabbi Feld shows us how we can look to ancient texts as a mirror for our spiritual questions and struggles.

THE COMMUNITY IS INVITED
: Bread from the Earth - A Matzah Baking Workshop led by Eli Rigosa, Israeli Artisan Baker on Sunday morning, March 21, 9:00-10:30 am.  Begin the journey to reclaim ancient Jewish food teachings in freedom from today's industrial food system. Learn to bake kosher matzah with our own hands and heart. Join us to study texts, explore ancient Jewish teachings of wheat and bread, and restore our matzah traditions anew. Grind flour from the almost-extinct Mother Wheat - emmer (Em Ha'Hitah) and bake it in a wood-fired oven.  For more information: Alison Morse, Education Director at
cbi.edudir@verizon.net

INVITATION - be a part of the divorce support network. In a caring community, divorce presents a unique challenge.  Our good intentions, fears, and uncertainties about how to act often create a kind of interpersonal void that results in people feeling alone and abandoned.  Forming this network is a first step toward helping those experiencing divorce feel that they have the support of friends and community. Whether you have experienced a divorce or not, you can be a part of this network. Come be a part of this project of support and compassion. If you would like to be a part of the divorce support network, please contact Rabbi David by phone or by email at cbirabbi@verizon.net
