Nishmat Chayim: The Soul's Sense of Smell

According to tradition, our sense of smell is directly connected to our soul and, as such, is associated with a deeper sense of spirituality than our other senses. In connection, there is a Chasidic custom of enjoying fragrant scents on Yom Kippur afternoon. We will learn about these traditions and energize our souls with delicious scents.
