High Holy Day Young Family Programming

This year, we are offering special programs for young families to help prepare for Rosh Hashanah. Join us for  Rosh Hashanah card making (geared toward families with children ages 2-5), flower picking on Abundance Farm (geared toward families with children ages 2-5),  apple picking (for any age) and a virtual Apple Honey Cake Bake tutorial with puppet Chef Lima Bean (for any age).

Young Families High Holiday Programming

Below is a list of the sessions available for each young family program scheduled on Sept. 13, 14, 15 and 16.  Please indicate which session you and your child(ren) are interested in attending and the number of people (adults and children) will be coming.  Space is limited to people per for holiday card making and flower-making session and maximum 14 people per apple picking session to ensure that all COVID-19 safety protocols will followed during each session.  All in-person, these programs are designed for parents or caregivers and their children.  Childcare will not be provided.  Please be sure an adult is present to supervise at all times.

COVID-19 precautions will be required including wearing masks and social distancing between family units.

Apple Picking at Quonquont Farm, Whately
Please indicate which session you and your child(ren) are interested in attending and the number of people (adults and children) will be coming.  Space is limited to maximum 14 people per apple picking session to ensure that all COVID-19 safety protocols will followed during each session.  All of the programs are designed for parents or caregivers and their children.  Childcare will not be provided.  Please be sure an adult is present to supervise at all times.  This activity is suitable for children of all ages.

Great Apple Honey Cake Bake-off

For the Great Apple Honey Cake Bake-off with puppet Chef Lima Bean, the session will be held virtually via Zoom and recorded live for others to enjoy at their leisure.  This is geared to children ages 0-5 but is open to children of all ages. Please inform the Zoom host whether you consent to being recorded and turn off your video and/or audio recorder, if desired.
