Activities for Young Families

Young Family Rosh Hashanah Card Making
September 5
10:30 am

Come join us to make colorful honey comb printed greeting cards for Rosh Hashanah. Make one card to take home and one to be delivered to a CBI community member and spread the sweetness! Speaking of sweetness, enjoy a honey stick and learn about the importance of pollinators. We’ll read a story about bees and do a ‘bee dance’ while finding flowers on Abundance Farm for your holiday table.

Teen Programs

Tashlich and Treats
Tuesday, September 7
10:30 AM-12:00 PM

For Rosh Hashanah, join Solelim (6th-8th) and Kirvah (9th-12th) youth groups on Tuesday, 9/7 at 10:30am in the Teen Lounge (Tent behind the Sanctuary). From there, we will take the short walk either to Child's Park or to Barrett Brook, where we will enjoy a picnic of apples, honey, and challah, and perform Tashlich, a beautiful High Holiday ritual involving stones, bodies of water, and our wishes for the new year.
