There are many ways to engage at CBI and build community. We offer adult education classes ranging from season long cohort-based classes, including Living a Meaningful Jewish Life, to more casual talks in our Sunday morning cafe and drop-in study sessions. The Havurah Initiative, funded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, provides peer-led, Jewish micro-communities based on shared interests or experiences that foster deep interpersonal connections. In addition, CBI offers opportunities to volunteer through committee service ranging from operational support to social justice work, and micro-volunteer opportunities, which aim to engage those with more limited availability. In addition to these offerings, Abundance Farm offers a beautiful community space at the heart of our campus to gather and reflect.
