The Jewish Spirituality Study Group meets one Sunday afternoon a month, from 4:00-5:30 pm, at Congregation B'nai Israel in Northampton. Everyone is cordially invited to attend. Coming once to check it out does not obligate you to come any more after that. You can usually expect there to be a diverse group of six who attend regularly and three more who come from time to time. Group members take turns bringing a reading from which our discussion and our sharing spring. Readings vary from Hasidic teachings or commentaries, psalms, books about Jewish spirituality and other related topics. We begin by each sharing for a couple of minutes about what has been on our minds spiritually or what of significance has happened in our lives over the past month.
