Some Things To Consider As You Make Your Pledge

For CBI's 2025-2026 fiscal year (our fiscal year runs July 2025 through June 2026), the median membership contribution per household unit needed to sustain our organization is $2,640 (or $220 per month). We ask community members who are able to increase their dues pledge by 5-10% or more to please do so. This is necessary in order to sustain a financially responsible program and an economically diverse community. We recognize that each community member's circumstances are unique and we ask that you contribute at the highest level that your heart and financial ability will allow.

Personal Financial Situation – What is a meaningful but manageable amount for your budget? Consider what you can comfortably give while still making an impact.

Past Giving & Future Goals – Reflect on what you gave last year, its impact on your finances, and whether this is the year to increase your commitment based on your own financial growth or changing priorities. Explore whether or not paying monthly might help you.

Value of the Community – How much do you value the programs, services, and connections this community provides? Think about the role it plays in your life and what it means to you and your family. Even if you rarely attend- how important is it to you to have a pastoral team to call on? A Jewish presence in your community? A facility to return to and celebrate in?

Cost of Services and Programs – Consider the resources required to maintain and expand offerings like spiritual services, education, and community support initiatives.

Increased Need in the Community – This year has brought greater challenges for many members of the community a larger contribution allows us to provide more scholarships, more equitable pay, and keep up with inflation.

Matching Gifts or Employer Contributions – Check if your workplace offers matching donations, which can amplify your impact.

Long-Term Sustainability – A strong, thriving community depends on consistent, generous support. Consider giving in a way that ensures sustainability for the future.
