COVID-19 Protocols

This page was last updated 3/7/2022.

As COVID-19 cases have dropped nationwide, we are rolling back some of the extra restrictions that we put in place for religious services over the past couple of months.  This means the following:

  • Vaccination Requirements: Indoor religious services and community events are open to all individuals who are fully vaccinated (and boosted, for those eligible), as well as to young children who are not yet eligible to be vaccinated. You can upload your vaccine information here:
  • Masks: Good masks are required indoors at all times for children and adults ages two and up. During services and events, masks will be optional in our outdoor spaces. Masks are still required for Gan Keshet children during all Gan Keshet programming.
  • No Pre-Registration: We are no longer requiring pre-registration for attendance at services. We will continue to require pre-registration for B’nai Mitzvah and some special events.
  • Self-Screening: We ask that you continue to self-screen for symptoms before coming to CBI and stay home if you have any COVID-19 symptoms. You can fill out the self-screening form here:
  • Kiddush: We will continue to offer a hot kiddush each week. Please consider a donation of time or money to our Kiddush Fund.
  • Livestream: We will continue to offer livestreamed services each Friday night and Saturday morning. We are adding additional microphones and getting ready to roll out a more interactive Zoom option for those interested.

As conditions change, we hope to continue to find ways to make our building and campus increasingly accessible. We will continue to revisit these policies. As always, our rabbi, leadership, and staff are here for you, and we are working to create new ways to support one another through the pandemic. If you need any support at all, please reach out to one of us.
