This workshop is hosted by the Israel/Palestine Dialogue and Advisory Group* and co-sponsored by the Am Yisrael Chai-vurah and the Jews Read Palestinian Stories Havurah.

This two-hour gathering, only open to CBI members, will offer space for small-group listening and sharing. Together, we’ll reflect on our personal experiences and learning around Israel and Palestine—and explore how those journeys shape our current perspectives.

The goal of this session is not to change minds or resolve geopolitical conflicts. Instead, it’s to listen with open hearts, share our grief, and strengthen our relationships through empathy and understanding.

Who is the Israel/Palestine Dialogue and Advisory Group?
This small group of seven thoughtful and dedicated CBI members reflects a range of perspectives and identities. They share a commitment to curiosity, openness, and empathy—and a desire to help guide our community toward deeper, healthier engagement. In addition to Rabbi Ariella and Rabbi Jacob, the group includes Amy Siege, Josh Levy, Judi Wisch, Naomi Barnett, Noah T. Winer, Sari Fein, & Tamar Fields.
