Bio
Nina (she/her) is happy to be returning to Gan Keshet for her sixth year! She is looking forward to a year of creativity, learning, and exploration; sharing her love of the natural world with her class. She loves to befriend bugs, examine interesting rocks, and explore the farm and gardens. She has spent a relaxing summer with her family and friends, enjoying adventures near and far, including travels to the Catskill Mountains in New York and to Cornwall, UK. At home, Nina loves growing flowers and vegetables in her garden and spending time with her family and her pets: a cat, chickens, and ducks.Before becoming a preschool teacher, Nina spent over a decade teaching science and nature-based programs to young children and families at the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell, MA. She also holds a M.S. in Agriculture, Food, and Environment from Tufts University.
