Nomi (she/her) is so glad to be returning to Gan Keshet for her second year as a full time teacher!
She has been in the field of early education for the last 4+ years since graduating from Wesleyan University with a degree in Studio Art and Anthropology. Nomi has taught all ages ranging from infants to elementary school, and can't wait to dive into learning with Garin as her home base this year. She is particularly passionate about exploring and experimenting with art materials, cultivating environments for soaring imaginative and dramatic play, and building problem solving skills. This summer, Nomi spent time in her art studio, went backpacking in the White Mountains, and enjoyed a glorious trip to Cape Cod. She's all rested and ready for another fabulous year in preschool!
Noho and has worked with CBI in several roles (Shefa at Abundance Farm, Alma during the weekend religious school, and later as a communications intern at Abundance Farm), so working at Gan Keshet is a wonderful return to her roots. Mackenzie traveled all the way to Mexico this summer, where she enjoyed the beautiful native plants and animals. Coatis and iguanas wandered around freely, she swam in underground rivers, and she got to use her Spanish. Growing up. Mackenzie participated in theater and improv, skills she now incorporates into creative play. She is looking forward to all the new games and jokes she will make up with the children.
